Drop Switch is a modern sound hailing from Denver, Colorado. Fusing hip-hop, rock and soul, it is their high energy level and uniquely fresh blend of styles that brings this group to the next level. These six musicians are set apart by their intricate original material laced with complex rhythmic subtleties. This group is led by the soulful bluesy voice of Emma Wallingford who can be compared to the likes of Adele. Along side is Sheldon "Logistixx" Valdez, giving the group a whole new dimension with his creative lyricism and rhythmic flow. The driving force is without a doubt the rhythm section led by the tight drumming of Collin Mcnellis. Zach Hislop’s bass lines perfectly sync with the punchy kick drum creating one tightly knit machine. The melodic fretwork by Alex Hawley and Chris Overlid tie everything together for one diverse, cutting edge group.
